Ladakh

Land of High Passes ยท Starting from โ‚น34,999 / person

Few places on Earth feel as otherworldly as Ladakh. Vast barren mountains painted in shades of brown and violet, lakes that mirror the sky at 14,000 feet, and ancient monasteries perched on cliffs where monks have prayed for centuries. Ladakh is not just a trip โ€” it is a pilgrimage into stillness, one that stays with you long after you return.

Why Visit Ladakh?

Pangong Tso

A 134-km-long high-altitude lake that changes colour through the day โ€” from deep blue at noon to turquoise at sunset. Utterly unforgettable.

Legendary Road Trips

Ride over Khardung La, one of the world's highest motorable passes, through landscapes that feel lifted from another planet.

Living Monasteries

Thiksey, Hemis, Diskit, Lamayuru โ€” centuries-old gompas where morning prayers still echo through the valley.

Stargazing Heaven

Zero light pollution at 12,000+ feet means the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye. Bring a camera โ€” you'll need it.

Ladakh Travel FAQs

Yes, Inner Line Permits (ILP) are required for Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, Tso Moriri, Hanle, and other border areas. We arrange all permits for our guests as part of the package.

Rest for 24-48 hours in Leh before any excursion. Stay hydrated, avoid alcohol and smoking for the first 48 hours, and eat light meals. Carry Diamox only if your doctor has prescribed it.

Flying to Leh is faster and saves time. Road trips via Manali or Srinagar are spectacular but lengthy (2 days) and offer better gradual acclimatization. We recommend flying in and driving around once you are acclimatized.

Warm layers (even in summer, mornings are cold), a windproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen SPF 50+, lip balm, sunglasses, a hat, and any prescription medicines. Bring a power bank โ€” electricity is unreliable at high-altitude camps.

Absolutely. Ladakh is one of the safest regions in India for solo and female travellers. Local communities are welcoming, and tourist infrastructure is well-developed. We also offer solo-friendly group tours.
